February 2007 Progress Report
Our friends Norman and Toni welcomed her with open arms.
Bob bought me a new stove...
hahaha
...like I'll ever use it.
Good thing my mom was here to "break it in"!!!
All she made was some homemade pollo soup con veggies.
The soup was
"um-um-good".
She was always drinking...
SOMETHING!!!
This vacation she had her 1st Mango Dacquri.
I made it with EXTRA rum.
She's ruined...
Sorry Barry (he's the husband)
Mom had fun kayaking and collecting shells along the beach.
She plans on making windchimes from the shells.
HAHAHAHA
We
ALL
know how she likes to collect stuff!!!
I told her if she didn't make anything she
HAD
to return the shells!!!
We also had fun building some of the bamboo furniture.
You'll see some of her work displayed in our Casitas.
Marshall Lombardo
(the "early man" of the area)
is teaching me how to sail on a Hobie Cat.
I really had fun.
Our building project is moving right along.
He let me sail it on my own!!!
Thank you Marshall.
One of the three ramps is completed.
The walls of the lighthouse are going up.
Alejandro is very meticulous about his faro.
The first concrete roof should be poured next week.
The "boys" have been cutting alot of wood.
This project could not be done without
