We found the tankless hot water heater that sells at Lowes here for $500 was only $250 at the HOME DEPOT in Mexico but a Cut-off saw I bought in Upland Home Depot for $100 was $120 in Mexico. A Moen bathroom faucet we got for our Upland house cost $78.00. It was only $74.00 in baja.

August 29, 2003 We were contacted by the owners of Costa Cardonal. They informed us that several people in Punta Chivato are purchasing "E-Wave" electrical refrigerators at Home Depot and installing them in their houses.
We found that a "E-Wave" 12 cubic foot refrigerator uses 400 kw/year. This was a little small for our needs and had no ice maker for Susan. We added an 800 kw/year electric refrigerator to our solar sizing page. This is the maximun wattage for most new refrigerators.
