April 2007 Progress Report
I don't know who likes to go to the top of the Lighthouse more...
Susan or the Dogs.
The Lighthouse stairs are roughed in to the second floor.
All the casitas have the concrete roofs poured.
The scratch coat for the stucco is being applied.
Frames around doors and windows are being
fine-tuned
to the correct sizes.
Notice that the
"C-clamps"
are made of rebar.
We imported a 525 gallon watertank from Peabody in Corona CA.
Water weighs 8 pounds a gallon
so towing 525 gallons is like
towing a boat...
4200 pounds.
I told Susan the tank wasn't one of those
"She should have been a cowboy..."
"Bucking Bulls"
she's seen around.
(that's a song)
ha ha ha !!!
I think these
chicken bones
are left as a bribe.
Ann our neighbor and talented artist
Don't tell anyone.
ha ha ha !!!
(note: Later when archeologists
dig up bones at the site,
at least you’ll know what they are.)
had a birthday.
She turned the
"BIG 50".
We had a
"birthday dinner"
with friends at Melys in town.
Richard, another neighbor
stopped
over to
"play"
on Bob's tractor.
Every
"boy"
wants a tractor!!!
This project is continuing with the GREAT work of
Nolani...
ALWAYS
in trouble!!!
We'll be back...
