The construction of our garage continues.....
We imported the 12x16 roll-up garage doors March 14th.
Ulises, Efern's son was there and made the importation process super easy.
He also imported some house appliances for his friend Harvey from Punta Chivato
The garage door people
Millennium Garage Doors
lent me their trailer to transport the doors...Thanks!!
We used this Import Broker at the border.
The import fee was 22.59% of the receipt value of the doors including broker fees.
Expensive...but that's the cost of doing business.
Ulises had a truck all setup to take supplies to Mulege.
We used the same trucking company we used to transport the fence.
Four pallets of stucco for the garage, roofing and building supplies for another house Efern is building went on the truck also.
We delivered the supplies to the trucking company on Monday afternoon and the stuff was in Mulege on Wednesday...
FAST!!!
In Mexico the architect is the building inspector.
The roof is on...the 3 foot safety wall that surrounds the top of the roof still needs to be installed.
This is a picture showing the roof access.
The road to the property is still in GREAT shape!
The Cardons are flowering....
The weather is outstanding!!!
Here is the link again to Efren Hernandez's construction website.
The construction project is looking more like the picture daily...
Susan and Bob will be in Mulege the week of April 18th....
